When Jane attends an unprecedented protest march in the perfect City ruled by the Court of Logic & Pragmatism, she is sent to a psychiatric facility to be made a Healthy Citizen again. There she meets 71.954, her Court-appointed care attendant. There they share Court mandated daily conversations as part of the Process, always separated by a wall. As the two women try to reach other for understanding and connection, they will be pushed to places neither ever dreamed they would go.
