The Making of Merdeka Textile Museum is a sharing session that offers insight into how a museum is conceived and brought to life. Through a performance and conversation, the session explores the multisensory design approach and curatorial thinking behind the presentation of Azah Aziz’s textile collection for the upcoming cultural space in Merdeka 118 Precinct. By opening up these often unseen processes, it seeks to demystify the museum to the public.

The Making of Merdeka Textile Museum ialah sesi perkongsian yang menawarkan gambaran tentang bagaimana sebuah muzium dibayangkan dan direalisasikan. Melalui persembahan dan perbualan, sesi ini meneroka pendekatan reka bentuk berasaskan pelbagai deria serta pemikiran kuratorial di sebalik penyampaian koleksi tekstil Azah Aziz untuk ruang budaya baharu di kawasan Merdeka 118. Dengan membuka proses yang lazimnya tiada akses kepada khalayak umum, sesi ini dilakukan dengan matlamat untuk merungkai rahsia belakang tabir dan menjadikan dunia muzium lebih mudah difahami oleh masyarakat.
