About
Ever wondered how worms can help create more sustainable cities?
Join us at Sayur in the City for this hands-on workshop, where you’ll meet the tiny ecosystem engineers that turn everyday food waste into rich, living soil. Learn more about vermicomposting as we share insights from our ongoing research project, where worms transform biosolids into safe, usable, fertiliser. Discover vermicomposting's potential in shaping the future of sustainability.
In collaboration with Universiti Malaya and UM Research, this session will also guide you through how to build, care for, and sustain your own worm composting system, so you can start making a change from your own homes and communities.
