About
This arts program invites audiences to explore Bardo, the state between life and death, a topic often considered taboo in Chinese culture. By shedding light on this mysterious transition, the program offers a deeper understanding of its meaning. The experience combines Sam Koh’s striking art installations, featuring symbolic effigies, with a powerful theatre performance directed by Chin Wai Kong. Together, they bring Bardo to life, sparking reflection on transformation and passage. Adding to the atmosphere, LINDwill perform the haunting soundtrack for the piece, conducted by Sam Koh, blending music seamlessly with the visual and theatrical elements by The Razors Experimental Theatre. Through this creative collaboration, A Journey Through Bardo encourages audiences to confront cultural taboos, embrace curiosity, and reflect on the spaces between life, death, and beyond.
