Photo Fest – My KL

The event brings together photographers, hobbyists, students, professionals, tourists and the public through a series of curated photography activities across key city locations.

The programme is designed to activate public spaces, encourage walking exploration, and promote Kuala Lumpur as a creative & cultural city. The Photo Fest 2026 will feature a Photo Walk, Photo Talk, Photo Competition, Photoshoot, and Photo Exhibition.

9 May (Saturday) : Snap & Yap Photowalk & Scrapbooking by SONY.

Snap & Yap is an immersive photowalk & scrapbooking exercise designed for photographers & videographers exploring Street, Human Interest & Documentary genres, through a cinematic lens.
Led by Alpha User Megan Tan, participants can expect a realistic storytelling journey, from the first draft, to the raw shots, through to curating and telling stories to an audience.

16 May (Saturday) : “Urban Renaissance” Photowalk by Fujifilm

Time: 6:30pm - 9:30pm
Objective: To capture sunset, blue-hour and night shots of KL’s urban transformation. The photowalk will cover River of Life, Masjid Jamek and BSAS / Dataran Merdeka.

3.⁠ ⁠Azul Adnan: ‘Documenting Heritage’ - To showcase the importance for photographers to be aware of heritage and to make the effort to document their surroundings.

Acara ini mengumpulkan jurufoto, penggemar, pelajar, pakar, pelancong dan orang ramai dalam sebuah siri aktiviti fotografi berkurasi di sekitar tapak utama ibu kota.

Aturcara ini diadakan secara khusus bagi mengaktifkan ruang awam, menggalakkan pejalan kaki untuk meneroka dan mengetengahkan Kuala Lumpur sebagai bandar kreatif dan berbudaya. Photo Fest 2026 akan menampilkan Siar Foto, Ceramah Foto, Sayembara Foto, Penggambaran Foto dan Pameran Foto.
