This Wayang Kulit sharing session brings together a multinational group of women to reimagine the Kelantanese shadow puppetry tradition. Once performed mostly by men, we offer a fresh voice through stories, demonstration, and dialogue, creating space for learning and cultural exchange.

This Wayang Kulit sharing session highlights stories of women through female ghost characters from Southeast Asian folklore. With striking shadows, live music, and original spoken word, the session explores grief, resilience, rage, and laughter, showing how women endure and transform.

Tickets are not for profit; contributions go only toward venue rental and production costs to make this community sharing possible.
