The show will highlight stories of women through female ghost characters found in folk tales from across Southeast Asia. These stories, told through striking shadow visuals, haunting live music that blends traditional instruments with electronic soundscapes, and original spoken word poetry, draw from female ghost folklore characters to reveal the often-silenced emotions, struggles, and inner strength of women in the region. Through these legendary figures, the performance gives voice to grief, longing, resilience, rage, and playful laughter, showing how women endure, protect, and transform our worlds.
