About
The River of Life project was launched in 2011, with the purpose of reconnecting the city, river and people. One of the features of the project is a 10.7km cycling path that starts from an entry point adjacent to PWTC LRT station and connects to the other end at Brickfields.
The purpose of the ride is to give fellow participants who have not cycled the entire route a firsthand experience and see for themselves how this can be part of their daily lives.
The route will start from Menara DBKL 1, continuing down the River of Life, then connecting to Old Klang Road which will then lead to the Klang River Festival. Participants will be able to experience Klang River Festival before heading back to DBKL.
The cycling ride is open to 6 pax only. Bring your own bicycle and explore the river!
Meeting poing: Menara DBKL 1
Participants to bring own:
1) bicycle
2) wear bicycle helmet*
3) bring own drinking water
4) join the ride at their own risk
*Participants without helmets will NOT be allowed to join the ride
