Playrush Vol. 13

Join us on Sunday 28th September for a feast of creativity and collaboration as we bring plays from nothing, to script, to stage, in just one day. Our writers gather at 9am to pick themes out of a hat to use as prompts for writing a brand new, original script in just 4 hours. Then they'll pass their scripts to the directors for a first look over lunch, so they can start forming their vision for how the piece will look on stage. At 2pm, the actors will gather at Hush The Theatre and rehearse the piece with the directors for 4 hours until 6pm, bringing this vision to life. The house opens at 7pm and all the plays are performed to an audience. And just like that, a play is born and performed from nothing, in just 12 hours. Come watch our show and feel the excitement!
