An award recipient of the Conductors Prize at a choral festival in Croatia, the Artistic Achievement in Musical Direction at a choral competition in Malaysia, and the Best Arts and Creative Award from UCSI University, Terrence is currently an Assistant Professor of Music and Head of Programme at UCSI University. He has become one of the leading figures of his generation, consistently introducing fresh perspectives to the music communities in Malaysia and abroad.

He has also been recognized as a Malaysian artist under the Southeast Asia Directors of Music Association Young Leaders Program, and has been listed among the Successful People in Malaysia by Britispedia. As a leader, he has guided choirs to numerous accolades in the Philippines, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Indonesia, and Italy, including winning the Grand Prix in a choral festival in Thailand. Additionally, he has collaborated with many artists both locally and internationally as a musician, music director and vocal coach, and has been invited to serve as an adjudicator at major competitions and festivals.
