About BIVAF

The Borneo International Vocal Arts Festival (BIVAF) is a premier international platform dedicated to celebrating excellence in vocal arts through performance, education, and cultural exchange. Founded with the vision of bringing the world to Borneo and Borneo’s voices to the world, BIVAF has rapidly grown into a dynamic ecosystem for singers, choirs, educators, and industry professionals across the region and beyond.

Held in Miri, Sarawak, BIVAF goes beyond a traditional competition format by integrating high level competitions, masterclasses, workshops, and mentorship opportunities into a single immersive experience. Participants are not only evaluated but also nurtured through direct engagement with an international jury panel, including one to one feedback sessions designed to support artistic growth.
