2023马来西亚国际华人舞蹈周 2023 Malaysia International Chinese Dance Week

This Article analyses the various aspects of Malaysian dance forms based on the dance performances of the 2023 Malaysia International Chinese Dance Week. From the perspective of a curator, I started with the selection of dance groups and their works, and finally chose eleven groups to display ten works, reflecting the multi-faceted interpretation of Malaysian Chinese.

These groups come from different corners of Malaysia. After the performance, works have been analysed and three categories have been classified. 1. Traditional dance form that immigrated from China and inherited the consciousness of the Chinese nation. 2. Integrate local culture while retaining Chinese cultural elements. 3. Looking forward to the sustainable development of contemporary creation in the future. In the discussion, it will be mentioned how the choreographer retains the basic elements of the Chinese aesthetic at the artistic level and recreations.

This article provides an alternative of how choreographers interpret Malaysian Chinese dance works, review and reflect during the process of forming works, as well as thinking about the sustainability of Chinese dance works development. In a diverse country, we should accommodate the diversity perspectives of the Malaysian Chinese, so as to reflect the characteristics of them.

本论述依据2023年马来西亚国际华人舞蹈周的舞蹈表演，分析马来西亚舞蹈形式的各种不同面貌。本人以策展人的角度，从选择舞蹈团体和其作品开始，最终选择以十一个团体来展现十个作品，体现马来西亚华人多面相的诠释。

这些团体来自马来西亚各个角落，演出呈现后，进行作品分析，从而抽取出三个不同面相，作为舞蹈中的描述及归类。一、移居自中国，承传中华民族意识的传统舞蹈。二、融合马来西亚当地色彩，及保留中华文化思维的融合创作。三、展望未来永续发展的当代主义创作。

此论述分析编舞家在诠释马来西亚华人舞蹈作品应该如何形成，在作品形成的过程中检讨及反思，思考如何永续发展华人舞蹈作品。而在多元化的国土，应容纳华人多元角度的面相，以体现马来西亚华人特质。

JACK KEK SIOU KEE
JACK KEK graduated with the degree of Master of Fine Arts majoring in Choreography in Taipei National University of the Art. He once joined Taiwan Cloud Gate Dance Theater 2. In 2013, he founded the Mythical Oriental dance company. The dance troupe’s annual performances include 2013 "Wind and cloud", 2015 "the Mythical Journey", 2016 "Ladies of the Red Chamber", 2018 "Ladies of the red Chamber" Hong Kong tour, 2021 "Yu Feng" Taiwan Apsaras Dance Troupe co-performance and 2023 "Malaysia International Chinese Dance Week".
 
郭少麒
郭少麒毕业于国立台北艺术大学，获舞蹈硕士。曾加入台湾云门舞集2。2013年创办麒舞者民族舞团，舞团年度演出包括2013《风云再麒》、2015《麒迹》、2016《十二金钗》、2018《十二金钗》香港巡演、2021《御风》台湾飞天舞集合作演出以及2023《马来西亚国际华人舞蹈周》。
