Liishvaar is a multidisciplinary artist with a strong foundation in theatre and film. A Performing Arts graduate from Sunway University, he works as a freelance photographer and videographer while remaining an active creative practitioner in theatre and film, taking on seasonal roles as an actor, director, and stage manager.
He directed the award-winning short film Engal Vidhi (2024) and has contributed to various notable theatre productions. As a performer, he made his stage debut in Moonu Kaaka Oru Vadai under the KLPAC Emerging Artists Residency 2025, followed by his film debut as the lead actor in Punch Arumugam (2025). He is currently writing and directing Naraksha - a traditional dance-theatre collaboration between artists from Penang and Kuala Lumpur, premiering in February 2026.
Based in Kuala Lumpur, Liishvaar focuses on photography and videography, while continuing to engage with theatre and film projects as part of his creative practice. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) Digital Film Production at Sunway University, his work reflects a deep commitment to crafting and capturing stories across multiple mediums.
