3 Malaysian singer-songwriters Aki Huang, Will Ng and Straw Lim, currently living in 3 different cities in Malaysia, have come together at TiTi Jazz and Music  to perform their original songs.

Aki Huang

At the age of 19, she debuted with the girl duo SukiMina and released her first album 《两个人》. Aki’s works are stylistically diverse, some are passionate and some are quiet, some are warm and some are sad, but each piece is her most authentic narrative of life.

Will Ng

Will has a strong creative ability. When he made his debut, he began to learn to write songs and sing his own songs while singing the songs of others. In addition to performing his own works, He also sold a lot of his musical compositions abroad. 

Straw Lim

Straw Lim, Malaysian independent artist based in North Borneo Back with her latest single, “I Wonder”, Straw Lim attempts to raise awareness on social issues through songwriting. Known for having a deep interest in travelling, her album “Excursion” produced alongside Dae Kim in 2019, was inspired by her backpacking trips, playing a huge role in her search for meaning in life.

Having travelled close to 50 countries, she concluded that her home, Malaysia is the best place to be. Currently based in the land below the wind, she explores art and activism while composing her next album. Straw is extremely vulnerable when she sings, mellow tones paired with gritty lyrics, intertwined with dreamy layers of vocal loops, she attempts to unfold the stories and voices gathered in her head.
