Test is Best is a comedy show featuring some of Malaysia’s funniest comedians testing their brand new material. Watch these comedians take the stage to craft their jokes, refine new routines and explore new comedic territory. The stage truly is the only place for comedians to know if they're funny, so come out and witness the birth of something hilarious!

About Shamaine Othman
Shamaine Othman has spent 10 years in the TV and film industry involved writing, acting, producing, directing some notable titles such as Geng, Club Mickey Mouse, Kuasa, Histeria, Love in Lockdown, Ex- Aku Pontianak, Suka Lattew, Akses Fear Factor and Sedapnya Mulut. 

As a comedian, she performs regularly with Malaysia's longest running improv troupe, AIIA Improv and in the Malaysian and Singaporean stand-up comedy circuit. She also had the honour of being the opening act for the Malaysian shows of international comedians, Gina Yashere and Ronny Chieng. In 2011, she co-founded Projek Disko Baldi, a sketch comedy group that went on to win Best Ensemble at the 10th BOH ! Cameronian Arts Awards. 

Shamaine has also written and directed 3 short films - Love Story for Ikal Mayang, Cuak and KL24: Zombies. 

In 2022, she produced her sold-out , debut stand-up comedy special , Oh No She Didn’t !.
