Flames and Embers

The Young KL Singers present to you Flames and Embers; featuring members performing torch songs, but with a twist. The gents will be rendering female artist numbers while the ladies will be rendering male artist numbers.   

Think of music by the likes of Whitney Houston, Peggy Lee, Sinéad O'Connor, John Legend, Billy Joel and A Great Big World plus some Asian flavours! This production will be directed by Ian Chow and Mak Chi Hoe, the duo responsible for last year's "Men on Women: Torch Songs Reinterpreted" by klpac and The Actors Studio.

A sad or sentimental song typically about unrequited love.

Note: Songs are mainly in English with a mix of Bahasa and Chinese language.
