Borneo Jazz Fun Run 2026

A fun activity for the whole family, Borneo Jazz Fun Run 2026 aligns with the 20th Edition of Borneo Jazz's theme Beyond Jazz where communities gather for a healthy lifestyle with shared experiences. 

The Fun Run will start and finish at Pullman Hotel Waterfront area, taking you from the scenic Miri Waterfront down to the serene Marina Bay area. The route is flat with negligible elevation gain so it's great fun for all ages!

Each registered runner will receive:

1. Event Tee
2. Finisher Medal (Strictly for finishers only)
3. Race Bib
4. Goodie Bag

REGISTRATION

1. How much is registration?

* Early Bird: RM50 — until 11:59pm 12 October 2026

* Regular: RM60 — from 12:01am 13 October 2026 onwards REGISTRATION CLOSING DATE: 11:59pm, 3 November 2026

2. What is included in my registration?

Each participant receives:

·        Official Borneo Jazz Fun Run T-shirt

·        Race bib

·        Finisher medal

·        Goodie bag

3. Where do I register?

Registration and payment are online only via the official Borneo Jazz ticketing platform.

There will be no on-site registration or payment.

4. Can I transfer my registration to someone else?

No. Registration is strictly non-transferable.

The registration and race bib are issued specifically to the registered participant and cannot be transferred, sold or assigned to another person.

RACE PACK COLLECTION

5. When and where do I collect my race pack?

Venue: Pullman Miri Waterfront Lobby

Dates: 4th & 5th December 2026 (Thursday & Friday)

Time: 12:00pm – 7:00pm

Please produce your registration confirmation slip when collecting your race pack.

6. Can I collect my race pack on the day of the run?

No. Race pack collection on the day of the run is not allowed.

All race packs must be collected by Friday, 4 December 2026, 7:00pm at the latest.

7. Can someone else collect my race pack for me?

Yes. Someone else may collect your race pack on your behalf.

They must present your registration confirmation slip for verification.

8. Where is the Borneo Jazz Fun Run held?

The Borneo Jazz Fun Run will take place at Pullman Miri Waterfront, Miri.

9. What time should I report?

Participant reporting starts from 5:30am.

Please arrive early to allow sufficient time for preparation before the activities begin.

10. What time does the Fun Run start?

The Borneo Jazz Fun Run flags off at 6:30am.

11. Is there a Zumba session?

Yes! Join our Zumba session at 6:10am and get ready to move!

12. Can I run or walk?

Absolutely! The 5km Fun Run is designed for participants of different fitness levels. Run, jog or walk at your own pace and enjoy the experience.

13. What should I wear?

Participants are encouraged to wear the official Borneo Jazz Fun Run T-shirt, together with comfortable sportswear and suitable running shoes.

PARTICIPANT SAFETY

14. What should I do if I feel unwell during the run?

Please stop immediately and seek assistance from the nearest event marshal or medical personnel. Do not continue running if you feel dizzy, faint, experience chest pain, difficulty breathing or otherwise feel unwell.

15. Do I need to take care of my personal belongings?

Yes. Participants are responsible for their own personal belongings. Please avoid bringing valuable items to the event.

16. What should I do if there is an emergency?

Remain calm and follow the instructions of event marshals, medical personnel and event officials. If you require assistance, alert the nearest marshal or event crew immediately.

17. What if the weather becomes unsafe?

The organiser reserves the right to delay, modify, suspend or cancel the run if weather or other conditions pose a safety risk. Participants must follow all official announcements and instructions from the organiser.

18. Do I have to follow the event route and marshal instructions?

Yes. Participants must remain on the designated route and follow instructions from event marshals and event officials at all times. Do not take shortcuts or enter restricted areas.

19. What should I do to prepare for the run?

Participants are encouraged to:

·        Get adequate rest before the event

·        Stay hydrated

·        Eat appropriately before the run

·        Wear suitable running shoes and comfortable clothing

·        Arrive early

·        Run or walk at a comfortable pace

20. Can I participate if I am not feeling well?

If you are feeling unwell, please do not participate. Your safety and well-being should come first.

RACE BIB & LUCKY DRAW

21. Do I need to wear my race bib?

Yes. Your official race bib must be worn visibly during the run.

Please keep your bib safe — it is also your lucky draw entry!

22. How does the lucky draw work?

To claim a lucky draw prize, you must:

·        Be physically present when your number is called; and

·        Produce your physical official Borneo Jazz Fun Run bib.

Digital copies, photographs or screenshots of the bib will not be accepted.

No physical bib + no presence = no prize.

23. Can someone else claim my lucky draw prize for me?

No. Lucky draw prizes must be claimed personally by the registered participant.

You must be present and produce your physical official bib.
