Film Synopsis
Life in a megacity can be exciting, efficient, and full of possibility, but it can also create isolation, stress, and disconnection.
The film follows the work of Danish architect and professor Jan Gehl, who has spent over 40 years studying how people move, meet, pause, and interact in cities. His work shows how modern urban planning has often pushed people apart through car-dominated streets, oversized infrastructure, and spaces that overlook basic human needs.
The film makes a case for reclaiming public space through walkable streets, bike-friendly planning, active squares, parks, and city design at a human scale. At its heart, it asks how cities can become more sustainable, inclusive, and alive.
