A cozy get-together where you will find literary corners for local authors, book clubs and second-hand books, all under one roof.
Prepare to be intrigued by fascinating quirks of book readers and the lengths they would go to make their reading journey an adventurous and memorable one.
The highlights of this day will be the sharing sessions by readers of different genres and forms who will talk about their reading journey and the role this character-building habit plays in their lives.
Whether you are new to this hobby or have been an avid reader all your life, RX will be the place for you to explore and identify your genre of interest, share your love for books and reading, and engage with other likeminded people.

FIRESIDE SESSIONS – with readers of diverse genre of interest
- 10:30AM | Between the Lines: Transforming consumption into creation (reading for writers)
- 2:00PM | Beyond Literacy: Critical reading as fuel for critical thinking (reading for learning)
- 3:00PM | Literary Escapism: Finding emotional healing and personal sanctuary in stories (reading for mental wellness)
- 4:00PM | Bookworm Confessions: The joys and dooms of being book-obsessed (reading for the bookworms)
THE YOUNG READER'S CIRCLE - get your kids to mingle with other young readers, exchange favourite titles and boast about their favourite heroes/heroines and stories (11:30PM)
LOCAL SECOND-HAND BOOKSELLER – time to to give already-read books a new home, let DEAR LiLy convince you about what suits your reading taste
LOCAL WRITERS – get to know their writing process and maybe grab a copy or two of their books/publications
KUCHING’S COMMUNITY OF READERS – a time of fellowship, networking and engagement to reignite the passion for reading
