Join thousands of participants from Malaysia and across the globe as we come together for the Malaysia World Kondattam 2026: Guinness World Record Attempt, one of the signature highlights of Festival Budaya Malaysia 2026.

Together, we aim to achieve the Guinness World Record for the Largest Indian Folk Variety Dance, showcasing the beauty of India's rich cultural heritage while celebrating Malaysia's unity through diversity. Whether you are an experienced dancer or a first-time participant, this is your opportunity to stand on the world stage and become part of a historic achievement.

Participants will perform three vibrant Indian folk dances:

• 🥁 Kolattam – 2 minutes
• 👏 Kummi Aattam – 2 minutes
• 🎉 Oyilattam – 2 minutes

The combined performance lasts approximately 6 minutes, making it easy, enjoyable, and suitable for participants of all experience levels. A reference dance video and practice materials will be shared after registration, allowing everyone to learn and prepare before the big day.

Dress Code

Participants are required to wear traditional Indian attire throughout the performance. Detailed attire guidelines will be shared after registration.

🌍 Public, Higher Education Students & Adults

• Registration Fee: RM30 per participant

Certificate & Official Merchandise

Participation certificates are not included with the registration fee.

Participants who wish to own official Guinness World Record certificates, medals, and commemorative merchandise may purchase them separately through the official Guinness World Records merchandise platform once available.

Important Information

• A reference dance video and practice materials will be provided after successful registration.
• Participants are encouraged to attend any official rehearsals announced by the organiser.
• Registration fees are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by the organiser.
• By participating, you consent to photography and videography during the event. Images and videos may be used by the organiser, media partners, and Guinness World Records for promotional, publicity, documentation, and archival purposes.
