Unity in Rhythm: Malaysia’s Grand Kolattam Celebration 2025 (Malaysia Book of Records Attempt – Largest Participation in Kolattam Performance 2025)
Join us at Kondattam 2025, part of the prestigious Festival Budaya Malaysia 2025, for a once-in-a-lifetime celebration as we make our mark in the Malaysia Book of Records for the Largest Participation in Kolattam Performance.
Kolattam, a centuries-old South Indian folk dance, combines rhythmic movements, colourful costumes, and joyful beats to create an unforgettable spectacle. Whether you’re an experienced dancer or new to the art, this event is your chance to be part of Malaysian cultural history.
This Kolattam showcase is proudly organised by Pertubuhan Kesenian dan Kebudayaan SRFA, in collaboration with Kelly Fine Arts and supported by Jabatan Kebudayaan dan Kesenian Negara (JKKN).

How to Join:
1. Scan the QR code on the official event poster to register.
2. Complete your payment via CloudJoi.
3. Once registered and paid, you’ll receive a confirmation email (please use an active email address).
4. Your QR code (sent after payment) is your entry ticket – one QR code is valid for one registration only.

Participants are encouraged to learn and rehearse the steps from this video in preparation for the grand celebration, where we aim to set a Malaysia Book of Records achievement – Largest Participation in Kolattam Performance 2025.
📌 Important Notes:
1. Each participant must bring their own decorated Kolattam sticks (guidelines are shown in the video).
2. Open to all — everyone is welcome, ages 9 and above.
3. Please arrive early for registration to avoid delays.
4. Participants are encouraged to carpool or use public transport, as parking around Taman Tasik Titiwangsa may be limited.
5. On-site vendors will be available for food and drinks throughout the event.
