AZMEIR WITH FARID AZMEIR

Farid Azmeir is a Malaysian stand-up comedian recognised for his strong stage presence and sharp observational humour, performing fluently in both English and Bahasa Melayu. Since starting his comedy career in 2016, he has become a regular in the local circuit, appearing at comedy clubs, festivals, corporate events, and major showcases across Malaysia.

He is the winner of Astro’s Gelak Gempak 2021 stand-up comedy competition and has a 30-minute special on iFlix, Oi, Jaga Mulut! (Season 2). He has also featured in episodes of the iFlix original series Oi, Jaga Mulut!.

Farid’s comedy blends everyday observations, social commentary, and personal storytelling, delivered with relatable humour that connects with both Malay- and English-speaking audiences. His sets often highlight cultural quirks and real-life experiences with wit and honesty.

In addition to stand-up, he occasionally incorporates musical comedy into his performances, using original songs and guitar to add a unique twist to his act.
