About
Jokes against humanity.
Step into the wickedly funny world of Jokes Against Humanity, the Malaysian twist on the cult hit Comedians Against Humanity from the Edinburgh Fringe and Australian comedy festivals. Inspired by the notorious card game, Cards Against Humanity, this show blends scripted stand-up with spontaneous, no-holds-barred comedy that thrives on audience interaction. Since its Malaysian debut in 2023, it’s been a sell-out favourite, bringing together some of the sharpest, most fearless comics in the scene. This is not a show for kids, the easily offended, or anyone who blushes easily… but if you love your comedy, bold, outrageous, and a little bit wrong, you’re in the right place.
The line-up features some of Malaysia’s boldest and sharpest comedians, bringing unapologetic humour, quick wit, and unpredictable energy to the stage :
Nat Kang is one of Malaysia's only comedians specialising in dark as well as musical comedy, also the curator of the sold out show Jokes against humanity. He is an optometrist by day, his comedy has been described as a mix of the morbid, moronic, and sometimes melodic. Active within the Southeast Asian comedy circuit since 2016, he has worked with various local legends such as Douglas Lim, Harith Iskander, and Joanne Kam, as well as international icons such as Stephen K Amos, Uncle Roger, and even Tinky Winky the Teletubby. Having debuted multiple solo hour shows and toured internationally, he is currently working on his decade anniversary solo shows for their Kuala Lumpur debuts in June and Sep 2026.
Rizal van Geyzel, a Malaysian stand-up comedian of Dutch-eurasian Malay and Turkish heritage is the pioneer of the country's underground English stand-up comedy scene. He co-founded The Crackhouse Comedy Club in 2014, Malaysia's first dedicated comedy venue. Since turning to comedy full-time in 2013, he has performed across 20 countries. Known for humor rooted in his multicultural heritage, his Edinburgh Fringe show Arrested received an astounding 4-star review (one4review, UK). He has performed internationally in over 20 countries including the Melbourne and Sydney International Comedy Festival and been a consistent feature for the Kings & Queen of Comedy Asia in Singapore.
Marissa Wong is a comedian, content creator, and quite literally, a digital footprint giant. Known for her viral "Berak Bersama Marissa Wong" series—where she reviews public toilets with a level of scrutiny usually reserved for fine dining—Marissa has built a community of over 150,000 followers and earned herself a dedicated full-page spread in national newspapers.
If you don’t recognize her, just Google her; she is everywhere. From appearing in major press releases to dominating the local digital landscape, Marissa has turned her unique "Toilet Inspector" brand into a media powerhouse. When she isn’t documenting the state of Malaysia’s bidets or performing stand-up, she’s a fintech professional meticulously planning her path to a million-ringgit retirement by age 40.
Part-Thai, part-Fintech, and 100% unfiltered, Marissa brings a sharp, high-energy wit to the stage that proves her humor is far cleaner than the restrooms she reviews.
Ming Yue (popularly known as @mingasaur) is a prominent Malaysian stand-up comedian, content creator, and director.
He first rose to nationwide fame in 2012 as a core creator of The Ming Thing, a pioneering Malaysian YouTube channel known for its relatable sketch comedy about local culture. Behind his energetic and goofy on-screen persona, Ming Yue is a self-proclaimed introvert who discovered his creative outlet while studying in the UK.
When the pandemic halted traditional film productions in 2020, Ming Yue pivoted to solo content. He challenged himself to post daily comedy videos on Instagram and TikTok. His sharp, viral observations about lockdown life quickly established him as an independent comedic force.
In 2022, Ming Yue made the high-stakes transition from scripted digital videos to live stand-up comedy. He fast-tracked from brief open mics to selling out major venues. By 2024, he launched his debut solo comedy special, "What Would YUE Do", selling out multiple runs across Malaysia, Singapore, and Australia.
Known for his raw, experimental style and exceptional crowd work, he frequently headlines with local comedy collectives like Just Jokes MY. He also regularly co-creates "THAT SHOW", a hit hybrid improv-standup production, alongside veteran Malaysian comic Dr. Jason Jenhan. Peers and critics widely regard him as one of the fastest-rising stars and the future of contemporary Malaysian comedy.
Offstage, Ming Yue works behind the camera as a director and Chief Strategy Officer for the boutique creative and production agency, BLANKSLATE, where he helps shape commercial media campaigns.
