About
Deerhoof is a highly influential, long-running American experimental indie rock band formed in San Francisco in 1994 by Greg Saunier and Rob Fisk. Known for blending noise rock, punk, and catchy pop melodies with a DIY aesthetic, the band evolved into a quartet anchored by vocalist/bassist Satomi Matsuzaki. They are known for high-energy live shows and prolific releases like Milk Man (2004) and La Isla Bonita (2014).
Deerhoof has sustained extensive international touring, including recent anniversary celebrations for their 30-plus years of activity, alongside their latest release Noble and Godlike in Ruin in 2025, which continues their tradition of thematic depth and sonic invention.
This will be their third time performing in Malaysia.
