These words, whispered in Wang Yiling’s track Dawn, encapsulate the core of her latest musical journey. With the release of her hauntingly beautiful new album Hymn of Withering, Wang invites listeners into an intimate exploration of time, memory, life, and love.

Delicate yet fierce, spacious yet intense, the album weaves ethereal poetry with intricate musicality, striking a chord with audiences across the country. It reflects her signature sensitivity to the smallest human emotions and fleeting moments that often go unnoticed.

“Before the withering, let the bloom be cut. Love is an adventure—and a chill.”

This lyric, taken from the album, serves as both a warning and a calling. It is this spirit—of embracing transience and seeking meaning in impermanence—that fuels the upcoming 2025 Hymn of Withering Tour, where Wang Yiling will perform live with her band, The Firebearers.

The tour marks a new chapter for Wang—bringing her music from the studio to the stage, where it will take root in the hearts of live audiences. More than just a concert, each performance will offer a contemplative space away from the noise of modern life—an invitation to pause, to feel, and to remember.
