Worried if you’re qualified? Don’t be. There are no qualifications — ANYONE can grab the mic (just register first la). Unsure if your topic is “pro” enough? No problem. This session is not curated. You can share your future project, spread positive vibes, lead a talk, highlight an issue, or even talk about today’s weather. It’s completely up to you.

This is a true peer-to-peer sharing moment. Everyone is here for you.

Special Highlight: Table Sessions

13:30 – 14:10
Host: Eksentrika
Topic: How To Pitch Effectively to TV, Radio, News & Magazines

Many artists struggle to attract audiences and media attention, but it doesn’t have to be that way. In this practical session, Ista Kyra and Sukhbir Cheema, co-founders of Eksentrika, share tried-and-tested techniques for securing press coverage that amplifies your artistic reach. With more than 15 years of combined experience in journalism, publishing, and arts PR, they know what editors and producers are really looking for. You’ll learn how to write a compelling pitch, the dos and don’ts of contacting media outlets, and how to build lasting relationships with journalists. Drawing from real-world examples, they’ll show how simple tweaks can transform your press outreach. By the end, you’ll have the tools and confidence to get your work featured — and seen by more people.

14:20 – 14:40
Host: CloudJoi
Topic: Become the Avengers of the Arts? Maybe It’s Time to Unite

The arts can feel like a tough, solitary battle — but collaboration can turn that around. In this engaging discussion, CloudJoi invites the creative community to explore how artists, producers, and tech innovators can unite to overcome shared challenges. Whether it’s ticket sales, marketing, funding, or audience engagement, working together can make all the difference. The session highlights how technology can support creativity, linking digital innovation with artistic practice. Let’s discuss how CloudJoi can help build collaborative frameworks that empower practitioners to thrive rather than struggle in isolation. Join this open conversation and discover how, together, we can create a stronger, more sustainable arts ecosystem.

14:50 – 15:10
Host: KL Festival
Topic: KL Festival Open Call!

The KL Festival is back — and it’s your chance to be part of it. Led by Festival Director Joe Sidek, this session unveils the upcoming KL Festival 2026 and its pre-launch weekend. Joe invites creators, producers, and organisations across the cultural spectrum to contribute ideas, propose programmes, and join a dynamic celebration of creativity. Attendees will gain insight into the festival’s vision, selection process, and opportunities for collaboration. Whether you’re an emerging artist or a seasoned curator, this open call encourages everyone to connect and participate. Discover how you can showcase your work, expand your networks, and play a part in shaping Kuala Lumpur’s creative future.

15:20 – 16:00
Host: MyCreative Venture Group
Topic: MyCV Latest Funds – For Your Reference!

Learn about the latest funding opportunities designed to empower Malaysia’s creative community. The MyCreative Venture Group presents key initiatives such as the MyCreative Social Enterprise Fund (SEF) 2025, Concerts & Events in Malaysia Incentive (CEMI), and the MyCreative Matching Fund Scheme. This session offers practical guidance on eligibility, application processes, and project alignment with national creative goals. MyCreative representatives will share insights into how these funds support artists, producers, and creative entrepreneurs in building sustainable ventures. Whether you’re seeking financial support or exploring partnerships, this talk will equip you with valuable knowledge to take your next project further.
