Special Highlight: CloudJoi Meet Up

CloudJoi Meet Up is an informal, stand-up style platform where attendees can take the mic and share their upcoming projects, bold ideas, or simply what’s on their mind. It is designed to initiate conversations, gather feedback, and see who’s with you!

Worried if you’re qualified? Don’t be. There are no qualifications — ANYONE can grab the mic (just register first la). Unsure if your topic is “pro” enough? No problem. This session is not curated. You can share your future project, spread positive vibes, lead a talk, highlight an issue, or even talk about today’s weather. It’s completely up to you.

This is a true peer-to-peer sharing moment. Everyone is here for you.

2. After registering, you’ll receive a confirmation email with event details and the submission form.
3. Read through the submission guidelines carefully and submit your topics to us.

Special Highlight: Creative Futures Initiative (Work-in-Progress)

At CloudJoi, we’re excited to share that we are developing a new programme — the Creative Futures Initiative. This initiative is designed to connect Malaysian arts projects with corporate support and government tax benefits through MOTAC.

This is still a work in progress, and we believe the best ideas grow through collaboration. At the CloudJoi Meet Up, we would love to hear from you — whether you have projects, concepts, or opportunities that could be further developed and presented to corporate partners or MOTAC.

How This Initiative Works

The Creative Futures Initiative brings together three key players:

• Artists & Organiser Projects — meaningful works that deserve wider reach.
• Corporate Partners — organisations seeking impactful ways to support the arts.
• Government — providing frameworks and approvals for tax benefits.

CloudJoi acts as the bridge, curating projects, facilitating sponsorships, and managing applications. This makes it seamless for all sides to collaborate and create lasting cultural impact.

The initiative also explores possibilities such as corporate sponsorships, bulk ticket purchases, show buyouts, and curated experiences for beneficiaries.

What Is the Current Process?

We are currently developing the frameworks for the Creative Futures Initiative, with valuable advisory from our industry partners, as well as input from corporate collaborators and MOTAC.

But we also want to hear from YOU! Tell us about the projects you’re working on — your ideas may help shape this initiative and even be included in its development.
