Terrarium Workshop & Airplant Arrangement Workshop

🔔 IMPORTANT:
Those who have pre-registered must show up at the workshop location at least 15 min. prior to the workshop time (e.g. if workshop starts at 4.00pm, you must be there latest by 3:45pm for check-in). Otherwise your spot will be released.

Interacting with plants and soil is said to increase your serotonin levels and happy hormones! Terrarium Garden Malaysia will be running two hands-on workshops for YSDAF 2026 Satellite – terrarium making and airplant arrangement.

Follow their step-by-step guidance to personalise your own take-home mini garden or learn how to mount an airplant on a wire stand. You will also be able to pick up some knowledge about the science behind terrariums as well as some knowledge on terrarium and plant care.

11am - 12pm: Small Tall Bottle Terrarium workshop
1pm - 2pm: Small Landscape Terrarium Workshop
3pm - 4pm : Airplant Mounting on Wire Arrangement Workshop

Learn the science behind terrarium, touch & feel the different types of moss and learn more about them. No pre-registration required for this specific activity only.

About Yayasan Sime Darby Arts Festival

YSDAF 2026 Satellite is set to take place for one-day only on 5 April 2026 on The Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre’s (klpac) grounds.

The upcoming satellite is a bite-sized offshoot from the biennial Yayasan Sime Darby Arts Festival (YSDAF) with two main events – “Synesthetic Symphony of Sound & Sight” and “Handyzone”.
