About

"It's Grant-ing Season"

Let’s Draw A Circle was born out of Instagram conversations and shared frustrations about recurring issues in the theatre scene—concerns that, surprisingly, haven’t changed much over the past decade. Then it got us, aside from being in a show- there weren’t that many third spaces to deal with these frustrations or even play. We thought it’s time to draw a circle in hopes of evolving our never-ending questions about our beloved scene.

Now, as an ongoing monthly thespian support group, our sessions happen every third Friday until August.

Up next: our third session, titled “Grant-ing Season”, dives into the anxiety-inducing world of applying for theatre grants. It's “Grant-ing” Season, and we need a reason to get together for this very important discussion. We’ll unpack the process, share experiences, and hear from a special guest thespian because funding our work shouldn't feel this lonely and scary.
