CONTENT

  This three-hour workshop will touch on script analysis and acting using the Stanislavski's Technique. Participants will learn to perform a duologue with clear Objectives, being able to identify the character’s Given Circumstances & Super Objective through guided script analysis. By the end of the workshop participants will try to apply said methods in short demonstration. This workshop is suitable for beginner & intermediate level adults who wish to further their knowledge and skills in the craft of acting for the stage.  

ABOUT FACILITATOR

  Lok Shi Hoong - Actor, Director & Playwright

 Shi Hoong has a BA in Acting from Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, London and 10 years of experience in the industry. Writer and Director of the successful, satirical production, Sucks To Dream starring actors, Alfred Loh and Charles Roberts.  Shi Hoong really believes in actors building strong foundations to their process as he was given this in his time training in London. He wishes to share what he has learnt and hopefully help new actors develop confidence in their process.
