Halloween began over 2,000 years ago with ancient Celtic traditions. On Oct 31st, the Celts wore eerie costumes to ward off spirits believed to return that day. Over time, it evolved into the fun and mysterious holiday we celebrate today, filled with costumes, spooky tales, and joyful excitement.
