KongsiKL is an old industrial warehouse at Jalan Klang Lama, with a built-up of more than 10,000 sqf. The warehouse was entrusted to KakiKongsi by Exsim Development Sdb Bhd, to develop social experimentations centred around the ideology of sharing - 'Kongsi'
KongsiKL has two purposes – to curate, develop and host programmes that rediscover old trades/craft by injecting new life into them. And, lease out the space for events that are site relevant.
KakiKongsi hopes to instil the spirit of sharing by creating ‘Kongsi’ events, a platform to share resources & content (knowledge, talent, arts, history, stories) to enrich the lives and enhance the social cohesion of the local community.
