Short + Sweet Malaysia: Musicals is the musical programme in the festival’s 19th year in Malaysia. Each work runs 10 minutes or under, and the audience can vote for an Audience Choice Award. This week’s performances are at 8:00 PM at Pentas 2, klpac.

Laugh through a very personal hour

Dr. Jason Leong: In Laughing Memory is an English-language stand-up special he wrote after losing a close friend to cancer. The Melaka show is about 90 minutes, with hall admission from 8:00 PM, and it is listed for ages 16 and older. It plays at MITC in Ayer Keroh, not in Kuala Lumpur.

Watch three dance companies share a stage
