CloudJoi Connect Ep.3: Uniting Global Arts for Unprecedented Collaboration

Published on 29/07/2024

Kuala Lumpur, 16 July 2024 — The third episode of the CloudJoi Connect series, themed "The Magnet Effect," marked a significant milestone in the performing arts community. Hosted at Muzium Telekom, this event drew over 200 participants from 15 countries, including cultural hubs like Japan, Australia, and India, epitomizing global collaboration in the arts.

Dennis Lee, the innovative co-founder and CEO of CloudJoi, set the tone with his keynote address, "Global Arts Synergy: CloudJoi Connect Ep. 3 Ignites Collaboration Across Borders." His speech chronicled CloudJoi's journey from its inception during the global pandemic to its current status as a leader in arts ticketing, streaming, and community building. Dennis's passionate delivery underscored the company's commitment to fostering a sustainable environment for live theatre, performing arts, and culture, encapsulated by the powerful motto #ByArtsforArts.

Dennis unveiled a suite of ground breaking initiatives set to revolutionise the industry. These included the Sales & Costs Simulator, the Affiliate Program, and an AI-powered Event Listing feature, all designed to transform event listing, data analysis, and growth strategies.

The event featured a Lightning Session, where each partner had five minutes to deliver a rapid presentation about their work or services. This dynamic format allowed for clear and impactful communication, showcasing the diversity and expertise of the participants, which included notable groups like the Asian Producers' Platform, Klang River Festival, and Damansara Performing Arts Centre (DPAC). The session facilitated meaningful connections and potential collaborations among attendees.

The true essence of the event was captured during the Magnet Session, a dedicated networking period. Partners manned their booths, engaging with guests whose labels facilitated targeted networking. The atmosphere was vibrant with lively discussions, idea exchanges, and the formation of new connections poised to extend beyond the event.

As the day concluded, CloudJoi extended heartfelt thanks to all participants, emphasising the event's significance in strengthening connections within the arts community. CloudJoi Connect Ep.3 not only celebrated the performing arts but also showcased the power of collaboration and offered a glimpse into the future of cultural innovation. The connections forged that day are set to enhance and unify the global arts community well beyond the walls of Muzium Telekom.
