May Mow

A seasoned bilingual performer on the live stage, May Mow is known for her alluring stage presence, with sultry and magnetic pipes. Lauded by the media as having great potential to make waves in the entertainment industry, May has appeared in several singing competitions such as Overtime Acoustic Challenge, 8TV’s inaugural singing competition 绝对 Superstar in 2006 where she emerged as one of the top 5 finalists; she was later invited to participate in 8TV’s Ultimate Power Star 2011.

In recent years May has garnered great popularity in the private event circuit. She is a favourite performer at prestigious ceremonies and occasions such as 第十三届海外华文书市的常年晚宴13th Popular Book Fest Gala Dinner, The Brand Laureate Best Brands Award 2017 and 2018, Citta Bella 20th Anniversary Party, Miss Harmony 2017 Malaysia, Property Insight Prestigious Developer Award 2018, Long TV Broadcast Redefined Launch, amongst many more. Her credentials in concerts and festivals include The Exquisite Sound of May Mow: Chinese Oldies Reimagined, May Mow Sings Tsai Qin: A Pre-New Album Listening Recital, In The Mood For Love, I Am A Hi Fi Singer, 纸醉金迷 Opulent Sounds of Shanghai (2014), and most recently, Pop Pop Factory 10th Anniversary [That’s Entertainment] Concert. She was one of the vocalist of The Shanghai Sisters (TSS), an Asia's First Female Jazz Trio from 2014 - 2020. WVC

WVC consists of bandleader/composer/arranger/music director/pianist Tay Cher Siang; bassist AJ; and drummer Adriel Wong. The band is one of the most active units on the Malaysian performance circuit, and performs alongside many Malaysian and international artists, and is one of the most sought after jazz bands in Malaysia.
