A taste of Kopisusu charmed with a strong dash of jazz - 90 minutes of seamless show featuring memorable Nanyang flavoured songs infused with Malayan sentiments of the 1950s and 1960s – a decade that offered a menu of whimsical yet modern entertainment & dramatic music presented in theatrical fashion, an era where the ones who entertain and those who are entertained live in, an era of all kinds of possibility.

Yudi Yap has been a time-honored house whole name in MalaysianChinese music industry since the 1990s. an accomplished singer and songwriter, she actively contributed in the development of local music scene.From singing original compositions in her early years, she has expandedher reach in performing classic Chinese standards since the turn of thenew millennium. She is still active in her performing career to date.
Her professional career began as the lead vocal in the
WVC consists of bandleader/composer/arranger/music director/pianist Tay Cher Siang; bassist AJ; and drummer Adriel Wong. The band is one of the most active units on the Malaysian performance circuit, and performs alongside many Malaysian and international artists, and is one of the most sought after jazz bands in Malaysia.
WVC have released six albums to date: these albums explore different musical genres, while maintaining the spirit of jazz as their core, and feature different line-up combinations. The band experiments with transforming pop tunes, Chinese classics and mainstream music into new jazz rearrangements.
WVC continues to push musical boundaries, producing innovative, boundary-breaking projects including: Shakespeare Jazz; Haruki Murakami and Jazz; The Shang Sisters; Modern Nanyang; and the pre-independence Malayan music project.
