Stengahs at Sundown: A Conversation with Alice Jolly and Tan Twan Eng about the Books They Love

Over evening drinks at the E&O, Walter Scott Prize-winning novelists Alice Jolly and Tan Twan Eng join Bettina Chua Abdullah for an informal conversation about the books that have delighted, surprised and stayed with them.

From formative discoveries to recent favourites, they exchange reading memories, influences and recommendations, revealing something of the readers behind their own celebrated writing.

Relaxed, personal and open to the unexpected, Stengahs at Sundown invites audiences to think about the books that remain with us long after the final page.
