WOMEN WRITE WEEKEND NOV 14-15, 2026

The Women Write Weekend is an intensive, guided writing circle based in Kuala Lumpur. The workshop was first held in November 2019 in a terraced house in Kelana Jaya. From a small, intimate, face to face workshop, we have expanded to include online workshops in 2020 due to the COVID19 restrictions. After a few years hiatus, we have decided to gather aspiring women writers for Women Write Weekend 2.0 but in Kuala Lumpur; specifically at The Nomad Shophouse on Jalan Pudu Lama. The details are as below:

Event: WOMEN WRITE WEEKEND

Venue: The Nomad Shophouse, 20 Jalan Pudu Lama, Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur.

Date: November 14-15, 2026 (Sat - Sun)

Time: 9AM - 5:30PM

Registration: From 8:30AM (Light breakfast provided)

Detailed programme will be emailed after registration is completed and payment is processed.

FEES:

Standard - RM430 per pax , Group - RM380 (max 4 pax)

(Total fee will include CloudJoi processing fee and tax.)

Stationery, breakfast, lunch and snacks will be provided. You only need to bring a laptop (optional) on the second day. Other details will be emailed or briefed on Day 01 (Saturday) of the workshop.

This workshop is open to women 18 years old and above. You can write in Malay or English, although language of instruction will be in English. The focus is more on story ideas and flow. Former participants have said that the workshop is suitable for introverts and those who prefer to be in an all women's gathering.

All food served is halal. We will also provide space for Muslims to pray and there is a loft space if you need to meditate. The facility also allows participants to use the gym during breaks (if you are facing some kind of writer's block!) and an outdoor space for vaping (some writers need this). There is a bathroom with shower available if you need to change.

We cannot wait for you to join us this November and we know we will enjoy your writing!
