Listening to Taiwan–NTSO 2026 Asia Tour Concert 聽見臺灣—2026 NTSO亞洲以樂會友交流音樂會

Ching-Shan Chang’s Echoes of Eight Decades celebrates the NTSO’s 80th anniversary through beloved Taiwanese folk melodies. Chopin’s Piano Concerto No. 1, written shortly before he left Poland, captures youthful aspirations and a poignant farewell to home. Tyzen Hsiao’s The Angel from Formosa evokes the warmth and spirit of Taiwan, while Rachmaninoff’s Symphonic Dances, his final major orchestral work, reflects a life shaped by exile, memory and faith.

The concert is led by internationally acclaimed Taiwanese conductor Tung-Chieh Chuang and features Malaysian pianist Vincent Ong, the first Malaysian finalist and Fifth Prize winner at the 2025 International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition. Taiwanese and Malaysian musicians join the NTSO for its debut at Dewan Filharmonik PETRONAS, promising an exciting musical dialogue across cultures and border.

旅美作曲家張菁珊為國臺交八十週年創作《八十新章》，融合〈梅花操〉、〈天公落水〉、〈鋤草歌〉與〈雨夜花〉等臺灣經典民謠，以嶄新的交響語彙展現臺灣的聲音與記憶。蕭邦二十歲時寫下《第一號鋼琴協奏曲》，在即將離開波蘭之際，以璀璨琴聲交織青春憧憬與離鄉不捨；蕭泰然《來自福爾摩沙的天使》以溫暖純淨的旋律描繪臺灣土地與人情；拉赫瑪尼諾夫流亡美國後完成的《交響舞曲》，則在命運、信仰、黑暗與希望之間，成為他回望故土與生命的最終告白。

本場由活躍國際樂壇的臺灣指揮莊東杰領軍，攜手馬來西亞鋼琴家王文升。王文升於2025年第十九屆蕭邦國際鋼琴大賽寫下歷史，成為首位晉級決賽的馬來西亞鋼琴家，並榮獲第五獎，此次將與國臺交演繹蕭邦《第一號鋼琴協奏曲》，臺馬音樂家攜手國臺交首度登上國油愛樂廳，跨越地域與文化的精采對話，令人期待。
