The show is a personal artistic statement, flipping Diabolo into a new form, more contemporary, theatrical, and performance-driven, pushing what the art can be beyond tradition.
Artist’s Introduction:
Focker Bear is a Malaysian Diabolo performer with 20 years in the game. He picked up Diabolo in primary school, and at 19 went to Taiwan to explore new possibilities in Diabolo. From that moment on, he started shaping his own style and direction.
Since then, he’s been moving across 20+ countries, bringing a signature mix of high-level Diabolo skill and raw, expressive body movement. He doesn’t just run tricks, he builds them, flipping ideas and breaking expectations of what Diabolo should look like.
Right now, he’s active in the circus world, stacking real stage experience and pushing his craft in live performances around the globe.
