About
Join the ArtRabbit team for a curated walking tour through downtown Kuala Lumpur, designed as both a cultural experience and a live case study in how ArtRabbit supports discovery, navigation, and connection across the city’s art ecosystem.
Moving through Chinatown and the historic core, this small-group tour brings together artist-run spaces, boutique hospitality, contemporary exhibitions, and heritage landmarks. Along the way, we explore how art lives not only in galleries, but in buildings, streets, and everyday encounters.
We begin at Zhongshan Building, a hub for independent creative practices, before stepping into Else Kuala Lumpur, a boutique hotel that has redefined hospitality as a platform for cultural exchange. Continuing through the city, we visit +n by UR-MU to encounter Strategies of Dissent, an exhibition tracing protest art in Malaysia from the 1990s to today.
The tour then moves toward Medan Pasar, where Muara Arts sits within a historic district now re-emerging as a site for contemporary practice. We conclude at the iconic Sultan Abdul Samad Building, reflecting on the layered histories that shape Kuala Lumpur today.
