About
If you’re looking to meet new friends, slow down, and try something a little different.
This is for you. We’re opening a small, intimate session for 14 people to play with distorted shadows, light, and free-form creation. Instead of worrying about “getting it right,” this is about letting go, experimenting, and seeing what shows up.
Each session is intentionally small, so you can slow down, settle in, and create alongside new friends. Shadow painting is perfect for beginners. Whether you want to try art for the first time, reconnect with your inner child, or simply have fun and meet new friends.
Along with painting, there’ll be gentle guided conversations woven throughout. All materials are provided, plus one halal drink per person.
Who are we: Unfamiliar Strangers is a community-based collective for trying things you’ve never done, with people you’ve never met. Through art and curated activities, we create spaces where strangers connect, experiment, and become part of something shared.
