Cheng Yi Auditorium (1F), KLSCAH

29.11 (Sat) - Day 2

SOS Spotlight On Schools
by Freedom Film Network
2:30 PM - 7:30 PM - Free entry, RSVP (link)

This program features six Malaysian short films that explore the complex social realities within school environments, shedding light on pressing issues often left unspoken but deeply felt — such as gossip, power dynamics, bullying, and sexual abuse in schools.

Powered by Pocket of Pink, the program also features a 10-minute theatre performance that expands these themes through live, interactive storytelling, encouraging empathy, and dialogue.

The films form an emotional and thought-provoking journey through the hidden struggles of growing up in school, inviting us to reflect on what it means to truly #MakeSchoolASaferPlace.

Following the screenings, participants are invited to a post-screening forum for open discussion and reflection, creating a safe space to share experiences and insights.

Dokufi Pendek - Screening and Q&A Session
by Rumah Kosong
1:15 PM - 2:45 PM - Free entry, RSVP (link)

A curation of short films documenting Kelantanese culture, such as nostalgic ruminations of movie theatres in Kota Bharu; the relationship between man and machine in the oldest matchstick factory in Malaysia; and the embodied practices of the cinematic arts.

This session will include a Q&A session with the Rumah Kosong collective.
