About the Artiste
Extraordinary People Impacting Communities or EPIC is an award-winning social enterprise that enables ordinary people to live extraordinary lives dedicated to creating positive impact around them.
Since our establishment in 2010, we have been creating programmes that integrate leadership development, team building and volunteerism into meaningful impact making experiences.
EPIC has also proudly been involved in development projects around the region, while also establishing ourselves as consultants to organisations from multiple sectors, including the Malaysian government and most recently the Obama Foundation.
Our flagship programme is called the EPIC Homes. EPIC Homes aims to build relationships between the urban and rural divide through the act of building homes for underprivileged communities, currently focusing on the indigenous people of Peninsular Malaysia, the Orang Asli.
They now have built 313 homes to date, and have worked with over 9000 volunteers. They continuously seek more people to be part of our community.

About Yayasan Sime Darby Arts Festival
After two months of Kampung Tour to five states around Peninsular Malaysia, Yayasan Sime Darby Arts Festival 2025 will finally be kicking off its much-anticipated Urban Tour from June to August 2025.
This time, festival goers will have three chances to catch YSDAF at three different locations around Klang Valley which means triple the fun and triple the excitement!
YSDAF 2025 Urban Tour begins at KL East Mall on 14 June, followed by PARC (Subang Jaya) on 5 July and, finally, Elmina Lakeside Mall on 9 August. Everyone is invited!
Like past festivals, YSDAF 2025 will feature bite-sized performances by Malaysian artistes across different genres, from the traditional to the contemporary, from music and dance to theatre and visual arts. Apart from its scale, what sets YSDAF apart is that it also offers a highly interactive experience so you will have the chance to get your hands dirty, pick up a new skill or craft your own masterpiece at one of its workshops.
The highlight of the Urban Tour are its anchor performances by its programme partners Young KL Singers, MyDance Alliance and Orang Orang Drum Theatre. Apart from these highlights, festival goers can look forward to a unique festival experience at each location as the programming ls largely different with a different lineup of artistes and acts.
