Yash is a seasoned powerhouse in Malaysia’s stand-up comedy circuit, officially beginning his comedy journey in 2017. Over the years, he has built a reputation for his high-energy stage presence, raw storytelling, and ability to turn everyday observations, cultural quirks, and personal experiences into memorable comedy.

A multilingual performer, Yash performs in English, Tamil, Hindi, and Bahasa Malaysia, allowing him to connect with audiences from diverse backgrounds through relatable humour and unique cultural perspectives.

With over 200 performances across Malaysia, Yash has established himself as a familiar face in the local comedy scene. In 2023, he achieved a major milestone by performing his first solo stand-up hour, showcasing his growth as a performer and storyteller.

In 2025, Yash was awarded 1st Runner-Up in the Stand-Up Comedy category at the Short + Sweet Malaysia Festival, further cementing his place among Malaysia’s rising comedy talents.

Throughout his journey, Yash has shared stages with some of the region’s most respected comedians, including Dr Jason Leong, Gajen Nad, Fakkah Fuzz, Sam See, Hirzi, Ron Josol, Kavin Jay, Ahmed Ahmed, Mad Sabah, Rizal Van Geyzel, Prakash Daniel, Keren Bala Devan, Brian Tan, Hindravel Chandrabose, Suresh (Raaga FM), Shamaine Othman, Joanne Kam and more.

He has also opened shows for international and local comedy veterans including Dave Thompson (UK), Mad Sabah, and others.
