Luthfiya is a Malaysian makeup artist and designer who gravitates toward the creative heart of every production she joins. Her journey began in 2022 as the SFX makeup artist and costume/props designer for a haunted house attraction, where she first discovered the transformative power of visual storytelling. In 2023, she continued to grow her skills through productions like The King and I and The Haunting of Hill House, both as a makeup artist and designer.

She is a contributing artist to SPART (Society of Performing Arts at Taylor’s University), a student led collective dedicated to showcasing bold, creative talent in original and adapted stage productions. With SPART, she served as the SFX makeup artist on The Haunting of Hill House, Made With Love, Prophecy of Blood, and While the Coffee Brews, gaining hands on experience in shaping theatrical characters through detailed, story-driven effects.

In 2024, she collaborated with Star-eyed Collective, a local production company, as the costume designer for their stage play Finite. She also expanded into film, working as the makeup artist for the short film Tension.

Now in 2025, she is the lead makeup artist and costume designer for The Other Woman, continuing to refine her style, one rooted in emotion, transformation, and the visual language of storytelling. Whether through wounds, age, glamour, or fantasy, Luthfiya brings characters to life in ways that stay with audiences long after the curtain falls.
