Puteri Diana is a Malaysian actor and storyteller drawn to the emotional rawness and quiet tragedies that shape the human experience. Her journey in performance began in A-levels (2019), where she acted, co-wrote, and directed a mime play.
In 2022, she continued developing her voice with the Monash Performing Arts Club, co-writing and directing Dying in the Ashes for Night of Drama, while also performing in a supporting role. Later that year, she took on the lead in Melati, a student Year End Production about generational trauma.
In 2023, during a semester at Monash University in Australia, she performed a monologue from The Handmaiden, a piece of self-reckoning. The same year, she co-wrote and co-directed Noraahet Studio’s Strangers in the Night, a short film about chance encounters and quiet loneliness.
In 2024, her screen work included MONGA’s Page 152, a short film about a student navigating the end of university life, and You're Not Really Here, her first project with Star-eyed Collective. In 2025, she will appear in Us or You and Me, a romantic drama written and directed by Abner Goh.
Her creative work mostly returns to themes of grief, memory, and the ache of unspoken emotions. She believes in stories that don’t always resolve but make space for pain, for recognition, and for healing.
