His passion over the years has been to express his traditional and contemporary musical expression through various ensembles and genres. As an orchestrator, he has arranged music for the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra, as well as RTM Orchestra and Orkestra Tradisional Malaysia. He also writes for dance drama and music theatre like Ratu Kuning (2023), Puteri Hang Li Po (2024) and Muzikal Sakti Merong Mahawangsa (2024). As a composition and gamelan expert, he is currently a full-time lecturer at ASWARA.
