English Theatre Collaboration (ETC.) is the result of three Universiti Malaya English language clubs from three different faculties (Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, Faculty of Languages and Linguistics, and Faculty of Education) combining their efforts into a shared discipline: English Medium Theatre.
Since our inception, ETC. has focused on one aspect above all else; students.
We believe in fostering student-led art by creating a platform where students of Universiti Malaya can experiment and expand their creativity through the disciplines of a theatre production such as scriptwriting, acting, directing, graphic designing, set building, props making, lights & sound engineering, etc.
Since our establishment in 2023, we have welcomed and empowered Universiti Malaya students from various faculties, nationalities, and backgrounds in their pursuit of art and personal growth and we strive to continue doing so.
