名扬艺苑成立于2013年，以宏扬广东粤剧及文化艺术、培养观众及艺术人材，不限年龄，令儿童及青少年对文化艺术产生兴趣、保留粤剧传统艺术为宗旨。艺苑之成立，主要为粤剧爱好者、观众、学生等作表演，也为老年人及学校提供慈善性之演出，为使更多人能欣赏传统粤剧艺术，演出保持高格水平，不落俗套，更邀请名伶客串参与演出或担仼顾问，进行创作及传统节目。制作认真，保留戏曲传统之余，并加添各方新元素，令年青一代对粤剧改观，成功汲纳更多新观众。2024年，小戏曲《粤艺精萃承传耀东方》入选为国家艺术基金资助项目之一，向以「微粤剧」的形式，向香港、国际推广戏曲文化。
Ming Yeung Arts House was established in 2013 with the aim of preserving traditional Cantonese Opera, promoting cultural arts, nurturing audiences and artistic talents of all ages, and sparking interest in cultural arts among children and teenagers. The academy primarily provides performances for Cantonese Opera enthusiasts, audiences, and students, and also offers charity performances for the elderly and schools, ensuring that more people can appreciate traditional Cantonese Opera. The performances maintain a high standard and avoid clichés, inviting renowned performers to guest star or serve as advisors, and to engage in both creative and traditional programs. The productions are meticulous, preserving the traditions of Opera while incorporating new elements to change the perceptions of the younger generation, successfully attracting more new audiences. In 2024, the short opera "Passing on Tradition, Shining in the East" was selected as one of the projects funded by China National Arts Fund, to promote opera culture in Hong Kong.
