The Yin Qi Choir proudly presents a glorious evening of Baroque choral masterworks, featuring Antonio Vivaldi’s radiant&nbsp;Gloria&nbsp;(RV 589) and George Frideric Handel’s dramatic&nbsp;Dixit Dominus&nbsp;(HWV 232).Written in the early 18th century, Vivaldi’s&nbsp;Gloria&nbsp;bursts with jubilant choruses, lyrical arias, and sparkling orchestration that showcase the Venetian composer’s gift for both grandeur and intimacy. Its uplifting spirit and luminous harmonies have made it one of the most beloved sacred works in the choral repertoire.In striking contrast, Handel’s&nbsp;Dixit Dominus, composed when the young composer was in Rome at just 22 years old, is a virtuosic setting of Psalm 110.
