🚀 What’s New in 2025
This 20th anniversary isn’t just a celebration—it’s a launchpad for the future. The BCAA University Tour will bring nominees and industry veterans to campuses nationwide, offering workshops and talks to inspire students and demystify careers in the arts. Meanwhile, Sharing Sessions in the Klang Valley will invite the public to engage with nominees through candid discussions and live showcases, pulling back the curtain on the creative process.
The theme, “20 Years of Legacy: Igniting Inspiration for Tomorrow” , emphasizes accessibility and immersion. Beyond traditional performances, the focus is on making the arts a lived experience—whether through interactive events or public dialogues. Digital updates via Kakiseni’s website and social media will keep audiences connected to nominee announcements and event highlights.
🗣️ Voices Behind the Legacy
Jason Foo (CEO, BOH Plantations) reflects on the journey: “From a vision 20 years ago to today’s vibrant platform, the Cammies have always been about pushing boundaries. Now, we’re focused on ensuring the arts remain sustainable for generations ahead.”
Low Ngai Yuen (President, Kakiseni) challenges the status quo: “Legacy isn’t just about preservation—it’s about action. How do we keep the arts alive? By making them accessible, immersive, and integral to everyday life.”
